Pros
Rio Grande gave me the opportunity to become an expert in sales. I had a small amount of previous experience before joining the team, but Rio is where I truly began to thrive. It’s an established company with a large client base, which means that I was engaging with genuinely interested clients on a regular basis. The work environment was fast-paced, but being in a setting where I was constantly engaged was exactly what I needed.
Unrelated to the job itself, but I love that Rio runs on solar power! It’s impressive to me that they took the time to allocate recourses to something that would benefit the environment. Actions like this are exemplary of the type of people that are running the company.
Cons
I enjoyed everything about Rio. The only thing that was annoying for me was that we had a lot of meetings. I get bored easily so it was hard for me to sit through them!
