Pros

Something for everyone. This is a warehouse so there is manual labor work and desk jobs. I worked in warehouse, had the ability to learn new things and grow. They invest a lot in their employees. Pretty flexible. Feels like most people are there 10+ years or don’t stay long.

Cons

Management was eh but has since changed. Lower pay, but flexible and not stressful.

Made me a sales expert

Pros

Rio Grande gave me the opportunity to become an expert in sales. I had a small amount of previous experience before joining the team, but Rio is where I truly began to thrive. It’s an established company with a large client base, which means that I was engaging with genuinely interested clients on a regular basis. The work environment was fast-paced, but being in a setting where I was constantly engaged was exactly what I needed. Unrelated to the job itself, but I love that Rio runs on solar power! It’s impressive to me that they took the time to allocate recourses to something that would benefit the environment. Actions like this are exemplary of the type of people that are running the company.

Cons

I enjoyed everything about Rio. The only thing that was annoying for me was that we had a lot of meetings. I get bored easily so it was hard for me to sit through them!

Pros

Flexible schedules, instant trust, lots of opportunities. All of my coworkers are fair, honest, and hard-working. Great training from my manager. She leads and practices what she preaches and never flexes her power or makes you feel uncomfortable. She is there for her employees and the entire team and we all know it.

Cons

None at this point. Fellow employees are great people. They each bring a style of selling and helping our customers. Many have worked in the jewelers business for several years and with the same company.
