Pros

Relaxed working environment, senior management team are approachable, flexible working arrangements, diverse culture with strong focus on health & safety and employee well-being. Generally a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Cons

Overly consultative and too consensus driven at times which can stall progress and decision making. Working across global timezones can be challenging/exhausting.

Pros

Learnt a lot at Rio Tinto given the company's hard work ethics and excellent colleagues working alongside me.

Cons

Heavily male dominated and a real feeling it would be more difficult to climb as a woman.
