Pros

The teams were great and collaborated constantly across a variety of projects/departments. I got enthusiastic help whenever I asked for it.

Cons

Not their fault, economic slow down didn't allow for Grad Program employment. A lot of people laid off.

Pros

I worked at Rio Tinto for 4 months as a coop student and it was an amazing experience. I learned a great deal, people were always willing to help and lend a hand. Everyone was super nice. The pay and benefits were good too.

Cons

It got boring sometimes and since you're an intern you get ragged on a lot sometimes. Other than that it can be difficult dealing with the upper management.
