Pros

Alcan takes great care of production crews and is understanding of personal needs. Very safe and fun place to work. Most of the people get along great and it is a laid back atmosphere making it an enjoyable place to work. Benefits pacaking is wonderful and 401k match is very good.

Cons

Mid level and senior level management are incompetent and unprofessional. Quick to accuse and point fingers and they set unrealistic demands. Management would be better received if they took a more active roll with all levels of the plant to help solve problems rather than point fingers when a plan doesn't work out.
