Cons

New company policies have really brought down morale. It's clear people are not a priority. Whether the policy impacts you or not, it's felt across your team(s). It has become clear that employees in SF are top priority and everyone else is lesser (including those in the bay area).

Scope of work was wide, work can be meaningful

Cons

Blame culture with peers that undermine each other, especially as new experienced talent is hired which incumbents find threatening. As a result, Rippling is a cut-throat culture where backstabbing is just part of how things get done. Combine that with impossible-by-design workloads and product leaders that gatekeep their connection to Parker and other senior leaders, and its a workplace that is challenging to succeed in. Not for the faint of heart but if you enjoy politics as much as your day job, then this might be for you.

Cons

Senior management views empathy as a weakness and believes that trust is earned, not given. As an employee, you are expected to proactively and consistently prove your worth especially in comparison to your peers. This is a very CEO-centric company. You will not be a good culture fit unless you unequivocally believe in the CEO.
