Pros

a lot of contact with the union thus one has great chances to learn a lot about negotiations

micromanagement from supervisors leaving no room for you to use your skills

Pros

It can be an enjoyable experience if the management treats the employees with restpect and does not micro-manage. I have seen bad management bring employees to tears and cause a big turn-over; and good managers who can create a great working relationship.

Cons

See comments above....also note that except for the low pay for entree level employees and never-ending workload, the managers, and not Rite-Aid per se, can determine whether you will be happy or miserable.
