Pros

The people I worked with were generally great, including some management. It was Central Fill. No customer contact. Five different stations, so I didn't burn out on the same thing over and over.

Cons

The state of non-CEO pay in the US is abysmal. Even having a union job does not get you a livable wage. I don't blame the managers of my facility, because their hands were tied by the completely inadequate Collective Bargaining Agreement between corporate and my union. Even if Rite Aid had not gone bankrupt and laid me off, I would have had to find something else eventually because the pay was not sustainable.
