Pros

As a store team your coworkers are usually fairly on top of things. They make it seem less like a chore at times and support one another.

Cons

No money to assign a fully staffed store, sometimes on a weekend there will only be one or two employees scheduled at a time. Disciplinary action for every customer complaint, even if said complaint is based on zero facts. When payroll cannot be met, associates are forced to use vacation or sick days.

Pros

If you are full time you can get a benefit package and a 401k. They have given me plenty of chances for over time and options to move up if you are willing to move stores. Depending on your state rite aid is union so that provides job security.

Cons

The pay rate is horrible compared to the over chain pharmacies. While they do offer benefits, it is almost better not to take it due to high premiums. If you anger the district team, and then the union protects you, they will make your life miserable until the point you quit.

Pros

I loved the position I had n the day today interaction with the loyal customers.

Cons

They could careless about you as an employee and if they could get rid of you to save a dollar no matter how much you have done or how long you worked there. They will let you go at a blink of an eye. They seem to run on a buddy system they will let good employees go for what ever reason they can make up to bring in people they know. Please save your time and apply to a company that will value you as a good hard working employee.
