Pros

Most are willing to work with your schedule, entry level jobs and usual promote from within instead of hiring outside management. Union for shift supervisor and cashier positions in certain stores .

Cons

Raises are only given in union stores , with promotions , not performance based. They are very strict with payroll hours and everyone is trained to do most all task in the store. Work load can be overbearing at times. Also half of the stores, mostly eastern United States being sold to Walgreens ; so job security might be an issue .

Pros

Good entry-level opportunity in Information Technology, plenty of in-house training, some opportunities to grow especially if you have a good supervisor

Cons

Management literally watches over your shoulder while you work, not very competitive wages, 15-minute breaks and lunches are scheduled (no freedom and stuck at your desk all day), in-house ticketing system is antiquated, everyone that works there is super weird/awkward

Great environment, with a catch

Pros

Great environment to learn and advance. Many areas offer great autonomy if you desire. Benefits are pretty solid. Flexible hours.

Cons

Salary starts off average but stagnates quickly. Good employees have to quit, work elsewhere then come back to get a decent raise. Workload can sometimes be daunting.
