Pros

The only pro of working for Rite Aid was the 20% off employee discount

Cons

too much work not enough pay/help Sometimes in Rite Aid's effort to always put customers first they do it at the expense of their own employees or company policies.

Pros

Great co-workers and in-store management Fair vacation benefits (if you get the chance to use them) Easily accessible advancement opportunities

Cons

Poor upper management (DM, PDM, LP) and higher lose touch of what is actually plausible within the store Difficult to claim vacation time with so few employees. Some stores are union and some are non union, so it becomes difficult to find workers to cover shifts.

Pros

Most of the Pharmacists I worked with were nice and helpful. You will also gain experience in shadowing a pharmacist in order to see if pharmacy school is right for you.

Cons

You will basically perform all the responsibilities of a Pharmacy technician even if you didn't take the exam for it. Your wage will not reflect that.
