Pros

They asked us to write this and encouraged us to give positive feedback but I'm going to tell the truth. I like this job because its close to home and I like working with patients.

Cons

its an unfair place sometimes. Poor management, they don't listen to us and sometimes rude. Management shows favoritism to some staff. Some nurses talk down to us when giving us things to do. Poor poor pay. I have kids that I can barely support because our pay is terrible. Give us better pay please. Some staff want to do there best but its hard when we not getting paid right.

Pros

enjoyed working 12hr shifts. it gave me more time to do things I needed or wanted to do

Cons

the management and HR department within the Gloucester hospital are very unprofessional. They have been there so long that when unfair situations arise, no need to go through the chain of command because they take up for one another. some floor nurses who have been there a while and some management in Gloucester are related and therefore when new comers are mistreated it falls on deaf ears. the old floor nurses bully the new nurses and mistreat them and I had racist comments made towards me. when I reported the issue to the manager, I was told that she has worked with those workers for a long time and did not believe the incident took place and therefore she would not investigate the problem. it was very frustrating and very stressful working at this location. this location really need to get new management and shake things up a little. bill downing never returned my phone calls

Riverside also has a compliance line that may be used in the event a team member is not comfortable speaking with their manager.

Pros

They do hire a lot of new people but also have a lot of people with experience to help train

Cons

Like any hospital or medical facility it seems like we are always short handed on most of our shifts, this creates a lot of stress and unfortunately sometimes errors.
