      No weekends or holidays, with paid holidays off Relaxed, slow-paced environment Pension Overall, good people to work with

      Politics Salary is not competitive Not a lot of room for growth, unless you know people sadly Support from administration is lacking No OT pay Everything moves slow at the county

      Coworkers are great to work with. Everyone is willing to help. Benefits.

      Cons

      Hostile and punitive work environment. Micromanaging is the norm and highly practice by manager and supervisors. Employees have no voice or opinion. Management has no idea how to empower their employees. Supervisors are afraid to speak on behalf of their subordinates. Employees feel unvalued and are threaten with write ups for insignificant issues. No opportunity for advancement unless you kiss your way there.
