Amazing Culture

Pros

If you're looking to get your feet wet in sales, this is the place for you. Ultimately everything you do is sales (cliche saying I know). RoadRunner typically hires Business Development Representatives (BDR) out of college, but there is still quite a few BDRs that are ranging in age from 25-50, I'm guessing. The culture is what sold me here. It's an amazing place with friendly people and a very beautiful office space. There is the aspect of work-hard, play-hard here as on most sales floors. You have almost 100 people with your position in the office, so asking for help with anything is super easy. The benefits are definitely top 20% of most other employers in the city. And at the end of the day, you are helping save the environment - which makes it all worth it in my opinion.

Cons

There is always going to be highs and lows. The commission structure is not the greatest to be had, but there is room for career advancement rather quickly which comes with raises. Coming from a previous sales role, I can say that most places that pay high commissions do not even offer a base salary (so more of a pro here). Some of the incentives aren't necessarily as titillating as they're made out to be, but they are incentives nonetheless.
