Disconnected Leaders that do not understand the business.
Pros
The benefits were competitive and there was good comraderie between all employees several years ago. Used to be a great company to work for several years ago. Interesting and unique industry to work in.
Cons
Executive leadership changed often and with that came multiple changes and unnecessary expenditures. The new leadership was also inexperienced and lacked knowledge of this unique industry which resulted in many decisions that were counterproductive. These decisions and their failure to nurture ongoing relationships with their clients resulted in a loss of many contracts in this relationship driven business. They also like to have outside contracted executives run the business and they manage strictly from the "Ivory Tower" and don't attempt to get to know the employees and what their specific job functions are or listen to their ideas or concerns. Employees perceptions are that they don't matter and they feel disrespected.
