Pros

In addition to outstanding benefits, a genuine supportive culture, and a clean safe work environment, executive management is providing catered lunches for employees supporting manufacturing during these uncertain times , in turn supporting both employees and the local community. Management is providing a safe / clean work environment above and beyond the necessary safety requirements and recommendations from the State to insure the safety of all employees during the current pandemic. Management provides great growth opportunity Family culture, made to feel as one of the family.

Cons

I can find nothing negative to to comment on !

Pros

Benefits are good pay isn’t alright

Cons

Management is a big club and you aren’t in it. Enjoy doing their job without the pay or the title. It has become a sinking ship and they refuse to do anything about it.

Pros

*Health insurance was very good. *Coworkers were friendly & enjoyable to work with.

Cons

For almost two years, I worked my hardest at Rochester Electronics. During that time, I learned how to work not only in my department, but all the other surrounding departments. I would do numerous tasks outside my normal job description & help wherever I could. I'd pick orders, inspect orders, fill orders, ship orders, and even deal with problems on orders. If I was asked by a Supervisor or Manager to do some other task, I'd do it. As time went on, I began to see more and more how they were simply taking advantage of me. The nail in the coffin for this was when I was screwed over on a raise. I was told, and I kid you not, that:" We really appreciate you going out of your way to do all these tasks (that I was given by them, mind you), but since you weren't doing your main job as much, we can't give you the highest pay raise percent." I was in absolute shock after hearing this. The moment I got home, I began looking for a new job. Two years of working like crazy to be told I was getting paid in "Appreciation". You cannot grow with this company. You won't get worth-while raises or promotions. The same small group of 6 or so higher ups will consistently give themselves new titles/promotions/raises, then turn around and say how everyone under them sucks as a human being. Then they'll just return to their desk or whiteboards and act like they're doing something when they are not. We asked for communication. They wouldn't give it to us. We went to them when we had problems. Their response was always "Well what would YOU do?". No matter what, the finger would always get pointed at us, and no one would ever come to our defense. I can safely say this company has the utmost HORRIBLE management I have ever dealt with in all the years of my life. Sparknotes: *Extreme lack of communication from management *Fake attitudes used in attempt to placate workers *Same 6 or so upper level people are the only ones to get raises / promotions *Refusal to acknowledge or listen to complaints, requests, ideas, or problems *Management will talk about & belittle their employees while also saying it is a "Family Environment". *Will 100% screw you over on raises. *Giving more & more workload to less and less people for no extra pay. *Management will shirk their responsibilities to lower level employees at any given opportunity. *Your mental health & well being will be absolutely destroyed. I'll close with this. It had always been my attempt & hope that I could become someone with this company. But shady practices, poor treatment of employees, a hyper micromanaged environment, and inept managers made this job an absolute joke. If you value or respect yourself, do not work here. If you don't value or respect yourself, also don't work here.
