      Pros

      I spent 11 ½ years on active duty in the Air Force (I finished my last 8 ½ in the AF Reserves) and the next 16 ½ years with another distributor. I’ve worked with some great folks in some great places. I’ve been an individual contributor as well as a manager in those environments. I started here at Rochester Electronics in sales just a few months ago and the atmosphere here at Rochester is the best work culture I’ve been associated with in my adult work life. People genuinely care about one another and seek to help each other first. I know I’ve only been here a short time but working here has truly been an immensely positive life change for me. That kind of positive attitude starts from the top down and it doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when leadership genuinely cares about their work force and follows that up in word and in deed.

      Cons

      I know for balance, I should write something here but I can't think of one thing that is worth noting.

      Pros

      It's a job. They have pretty good health Insurance.

      Cons

      MANAGEMENT.... I have 3 people to answer to at any given time. Some of the "leads" talk down to the employees they supervise like they are stupid and worthless. Constant harassment, people always looking over your shoulder, micromanagement from all directions, they tell you when you can and can't use your PTO (must request 1 month in advance, don't ever have an emergency or get sick!!).
