Make sure you are in the right department for future success. A legal project manager is not project management work at all. It is note taking, admin work for attorneys. When you finally get a bigger project, it's not at all the type of work you would expect. You have to enjoy legal jargon to be a PM here. If that is for you, then you are in the right place. Company culture is very boring on the legal team. Covid restrictions are harsh. Not a fun environment if that's what you're looking for when being forced to work in-office. Not a lot of room for growth as a PM, but a ton of opportunity within the FOC. Just make sure it's where you want to be before you accept.
