Where to start. Forcing team members back into the office in the middle of a pandemic and threatening their job if they say they're not comfortable. Terrible leadership that doesn't actually care about the team members as people. Leadership is full of big egos (that are mostly not deserved). The culture at RKT used to be wonderful (for the most part, though not perfect), but after going public it went straight down the drain. Benefits were good before the pandemic if you were in the office, but over the years they stripped more and more benefits and now they definitely don't compare. They want to say they're "a tech company" but don't want to make the necessary changes to benefits or pay to actually be competitive in that space. That leads us to pay, which is abysmal in all roles. They are not competitive at all and they overwork you so much that you don't realize how underpaid you are until you take a moment to look around and realize you can leave to make 50-80% more ANYWHERE else. Also, you have terrible work life balance and you're not appreciated for going above and beyond unless you're a white man. The sexism is real in this place. It's not blatant, but it is there. Diversity and Inclusion is a lie, that team has shrunk in the past few years, and all they do in this space is just for optics. Nothing really changes.

After years of "being taken care of" around the holidays, whether that's a holiday party or a Christmas bonus, that has changed this year. There was nothing awarded for hours and hours of hard work and effort this year. For what I do, the pay is not equivalent to the amount of time and effort I have put into this position. Zero value shown for the work that has been done across the company. I would not recommend this company.
