a stepping stone, a means of experience only, the only thing thats half way decent about this place is the schedule for the maintenance mechanics. 8on, 6off

Cons

this is a non union shop that treats is mechanics as a disposable item. mechanics have not received a raise in over two years, and there is nothing they can do about it but quit. employees are promised things that they never receive, i.e; raises, shop equipment, shop tools.

Lots of wasted time in meetings that are largely unnecessary.

Revolving Door = cheap labor that/ Labor that pays you to work

I am off every other week. This is the hometime plus fleet, and they have to get me home so that my partner can take the truck.

Cons

Bonuses/ Raises are unattainable on the hometime plus fleet. The performance goals are set at a level that is never reached due to the low volume of freight and the practice of constantly hiring new drivers.
