      Pros

      High growth, global, smart passionate team. Founder CEO which means a clear vision and mission. The man knows every part of the business so well it can be disarming but certainly means you learn! The team, the team, the team. When a company is so picky about who works in the company and ensures everyone raises the bar when they join, it means you are in a very high performance team which is inspiring. There is a real sense of achievement together when the business does well as everyone really individually is adding value. Lots of investment in team events including an annual global conference for the whole team, in Jan 2020 it was in Thailand.

      Cons

      Keeping up can be hard! Rokt isn't for everyone, if you prefer a slower pace or somewhere things always remain the same, then don't consider working here.

      Pros

      - Employee's at Rokt are kind, competent, collaborative and driven - Rokt invests heavily in their employees - Leadership is transparent - Flexibility in roles allows for development in a variety of areas

      Cons

      - Training is lacking, relying on large data dumps when you are first onboarded and followed by a "thrown into the deep end" style as a follow-up. - Communication practices are unstructured causing constant distractions - People management is not a culturally driven skill-set, people are elevated to people management roles without any focus on people management skill-sets - Work/life balance is a significant problem - Deviation from the status-quo is not welcomed or accepted - When problems arise, the focus is on blame rather than resolution

You are right that Rokt invests heavily in employees. We understand the importance of ongoing development for individuals, and how that impacts our overall success as a business.       Don't fall for it!

      Pros

      Lunches are great, the trips were excellent. Overall its impressive what the CEO has accomplished - he is admirable.

      Cons

      You will be worked for the bone and the compensation will not balance out. Toxic workplace - you will be there for a fun time and not a long time. All of the cons are detailed in other posts - the reason they are so exhaustive is to really inform you what you are getting into. Just follow the patterns. It is the worst part of ad tech. There some real deal herbs working here.

      Thanks for your feedback, appreciate your kudos on our office perks and our annual kick off event - we think they are pretty great too. We also agree that our CEO has many admirable qualities and is a strong leader. We can see that our fast paced environment is not for everyone and it is something we will do a deeper dive on to ensure we can elevate some pain points for our people. And while we want our team to have fun, just as importantly we want them to be happy and feel recognised.
