No real pros. Mediocre company on its best day.

Cons

Upper management is running it into the ground. Highly unstable environment. Layoffs, layoffs and more layoffs. Yet the useless VIPs continue to draw massive checks.

People are generally nice, and easy to get along with. Laid back environment,

Cons

No true company vision, purpose, or plan. Roofstock tries to sell how it's a tech disruptor in SFR but it's really just a Property Manager with some ancillary work around the edges. Management lacks direction and lays off regularly while hard selling on SFR as the next big thing. The merger with Mynd has created a bigger set of problems. Would recommend avoiding unless you're ready to take on tremendous employment risk with an upside if all the stars align.

Pros

- leadership has wealth of experience in the industry, smart coworkers, no drama, great culture, innovative product for retail and institutional investors, management trusts you to own your projects

Cons

- Too many initiatives running at once at the time (2023), went through a couple rounds of layoffs due to the bad real estate market (fed raising rates). I am sure they are running a lot leaner and smarter now. Really no cons when it came to culture, management, and day to day workflow.
