Great place to learn software development, not a great place to practice it.

Pros

Great people to learn from in the software department. Lots of skill, lots of dedication, easy to work with and to be around. People here are committed, talented, and fun. THE place to be if you are a very talented but inexperienced developer, you will gain tremendously.

Cons

There is a strong divide between management and software developers - and that disconnect is fostered by both sides of the divide. That senior management is apathetic to the situation is grossly negligent.
