Pros
They offer a generous food discount. Being generally overworked teaches you good ethics for future jobs, because your next one most likely can't be any worse than this one.
Cons
They paid employees less than minimum wage, but they give them the most jobs to do. As a busser, you have so many jobs to do while the GM sits around at the bar being a jerk. Meanwhile, the servers are probably having a fun time at the gelato kiosk, because a busser is probably doing their job anyway. The manager(s) don't really care about drinking on the job, so it was normal to see a server or even a manager slip some alcohol back to the kitchen. The managers are always changing policies, usually making them more ridiculous every time. Their last policy before I left was requiring the trash to be dumped in a kiddy pool out back, and then sifted through by a busser for any silverware that could be in there. The guys up top don't care about anyone who works there, they just want money.
