Pros

Rowan offers a really fun and safe piercing experience. The company is made up of mostly women and employees are friendly. Business is expanding rapidly, which is exciting.

Cons

Everything is extremely disorganized and nothing is documented resulting in operational difficulties. CEO makes rash decisions based on emotion and turnover is very high. New hires are often overwhelmed by the chaotic nature of the company. Compensation is under market rate and health insurance is expensive. They also do not match 401k.

-Fun, easygoing job -Not technically a nursing job, but able to use medical background in some situations -Love the other nurses in my store and my manager -You make a lot with tips

Cons

-The company uses the fact that you are a nurse as a marketing ploy. They don’t actually value you as a nurse. They barely even acknowledged Nurses Week. -very low pay and they rely on you making a lot in tips to make a decent wage. only offer a raise when you threaten to leave
