Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that we didn’t exceed your expectations as a partner in healthcare.
As an organization, we provide multiple communication platforms which allow our team members to give feedback about their experiences and ask questions about processes. As you pointed out, we even provide an anonymous outlet for our team members to voice concerns. When the feedback provided to us via this tool is anonymous, we can’t directly reach out to the individual and start a dialogue and ensure that the concern has been addressed to both parties satisfaction. What we do instead, is share our responses to the feedback on our other various communication platforms, such as our Intranet. However, proactively reading this feedback is the responsibility of the team member. We do our very best to reply to all feedback we receive in a timely manner . We apologize if you were waiting for a particular reply that took longer than you expected, or if you happened to miss it all together.
In regards to your comments about Santa Clara…as mentioned during our interview and hiring process, for team members hired in Santa Clara County we follow guidelines set by Santa Clara County EMS. Santa Clara County EMS requires a credentialing for each EMT to operate within the county. In order to be credentialed in Santa Clara County, our team members must meet certain qualifications, such as attending a Santa Clara County orientation provided by Santa Clara County EMS once a month, completion of certain ICS classes etc. This process is not dictated by Royal, but rather by your ability to meet the requirements within the timeline set by the County. Once you have successfully met Santa Clara County EMS requirements, the EMS agency will issue you a credentialing badge. As an organization, we accommodate you by providing you with an opportunity to start your training in Alameda County until you are able to meet the requirements of Santa Clara County EMS. Most team members appreciate this option, and also view it as a valuable learning experience.
Unfortunately, it’s not appropriate to counter each and every claim you provided, however we will say …We are known for being patient advocates first and foremost, and we pride ourselves on our patient care. We will defend this and stand by this no matter what!
All that being said, we wish you all the very best of luck in your new job and in your future career and we sincerely hope your next experience in EMS is a better one for you. "Life is all about perception. Positive versus negative. Whichever you choose will affect and more than likely reflect your outcomes".
