Pros

Royal Ambulance is redefining what it means to give the employee a positive experience. Many employers do not take the time to appreciate their employees, the guts of their operation, why their company succeeds - BUT Royal Ambulance DOES! By aligning their goals and values centered around experience, Royal Ambulance looks at the whole picture - patient, employee, and vendor relations. It's not every day the CEO of your company will come up and have a conversation with you, but here Steve Grau - makes it priority to say hello and check in with his team members. At Royal Ambulance, you are a person and not an employee number. This team and all the members work hard, smart, and welcome you to their company like a family. I truly miss this company and hope all the best for their future!

Cons

As with every small company that grows rapidly, there are a few pains along the way. But each new situation was dealt with professionally and promptly to resolve any issue that may interrupt development at the next level.

Pros

--Amazing work environment filled with great people --Administration committed to patient and employee experience --Company committed to treating their employees like family with accommodating schedules --Lots of room for internal growth, from Account Management to Filed Training to Field Supervisor to Administration and Operations --AWESOME company events --Great learning environment, especially for people new to EMS. --You get out what you put in; people committed to doing a good job are praised and rewarded regularly. People that had a problem with the company were typically those who were apathetic toward patient care. --GREAT culture of learning, fun, camaraderie, and patient care

Cons

--EMS does not pay well. Royal is competitive within the BLS system but none of them pay very much. --If you aren't committed to treating your patients with dignity and respect, you need not apply.

Pros

This is one of the best companies in it's industry. They promote training, education and the welfare of their employees, customers and patients. There has been a positive culture change over the last year. Through some innovations like new generous call bonus structure and employee communication tools like drop-thought. If you can get your foot in the door, give it your best. Working here will make a solid foundation in any medical or emergency services related careers. I recommend this company to anyone who is prepared to serve and grow with an able and knowledgable group.

Cons

My biggest challenge was leaving after 3.5 years. I am proud to say I got to take part in contributing to the culture change and overall improved morale over the last year or so.
