Pros

Nice new building One of a kind product Cold brew Snacks, enough to keep you from

Cons

Inexperience management with no real industry experience. Manages a team of talented people from pep talks read in books. Typical my way or the highway approach with no leadership qualities. Forced “culture” that no one liked or participated in. You’re expected to work well over 8 hours a day while management barely works a full week. No set breaks, if you’re lucky you’ll get a lunch break unless management decides to prolong another useless meeting, Unless you’re a cookie cutter version of what management likes you won’t be there long.

Leadership is Out of Touch with Employees

Pros

- Lots of autonomy - The company is growing quickly so there's always a lot to do and the work is mostly interesting - Very smart people who are both your colleagues and peers - Generous compensation

Cons

- Almost non-existent benefits (no 401K or typical start-up perks) - Leadership is completely out of touch with employees; they sit on their high pedestal and fire whoever challenges their way of thinking, which creates extremely low morale of employees who are afraid to speak up - Nepotism, especially among leadership - The CEO does not value his employees or their wellbeing; his leadership is not one I would ever want to emulate - Culture is lack-luster and effortless: do better so employees actually want to work here
