You will work - depending on your team - very, very hard. I average 4 projects a month. You will work 50, 60, even 70 hours a week at times but there are no banked time or EDO's. It's also salaried so you won't get any OT either. Be prepared to spend weeks at a time with very few breaks.
You are hired at your position and likely won't advance. An intern may convert to permanent as a PA, a PA may move to producer, but some editors have been with the company for three years and are still classed as Junior Editors. You also won't be able to transition to other teams: if you're on the live team but would like to be part of the creative video production team, it's extremely unlikely to happen.
Diversity and Inclusion are amazing at RUN...so long as you aren't conservative or a Christian. Conservatives and people of faith have a hard time here, culturally. There's a newly formed D&I team here but it's largely exclusive of conservatives. This past years Christmas party was intentionally hostile to traditional faiths and made more than a few people uncomfortable.
