Pros

Pay is ok. Management is nice enough. Job isn't super difficult. Lot of training in firefighting, medical, and safety.

Cons

Pay could be better, as is the case with most jobs. Home/Work balance isn't the greatest. Lot of turnover with people leaving for better jobs eventually.

Competitive pay, 401k match, Longevity bonuses starting at 7 years, $5k paramedic stipend, $125 bonus bi-weekly for fire based EMS shifts. Lots of overtime opportunities . Great work environment.

Cons

Not part of TCRS, Private EMS based fire Department.
