      Pros

      You can transfer to other accounts if you move out of state. Pay was ok. The employees was great,

      Cons

      They hire management that don't know how to approach or talk to drivers, they babysit you and watch every move you make, I was with them for almost 10 years, if you live in Fort wayne area DONT get hired on the account ALRO steel. ALRO employees is awesome. The ryder drivers is awesome. But the RYDER MANAGER is the issue.

      Management too corporate and no real understanding of what it means to be an efficient shop

      Toxic and hostile work environment

      Pros

      Nearly unlimited overtime. Pay meets/exceeds average.

      Cons

      Very toxic, hostile, and violent workplace. I was bullied, threatened, assaulted, and discriminated against by people at all four Lehigh valley shops. The condiments in the boot thing is true. My toolbox was vandalized and constantly had garbage on it. HR is not your friend. The hotline is not your friend. record things. print out material. hire a lawyer ASAP. It's less than $50 to talk to a laywer at the local bar association.
