Pros

Experience in large scale projects. Good stepping stone. Couldn't get much worse.

Cons

Salary position is not flexible, 50+ hours a week. Overworked. You have to be single or not care to have a life.

Pros

• Good for getting a few years under your belt before moving on to a better company. • If you thrive on working long hours without a need for work-life balance (or don’t have extensive family or social commitments), this might be a suitable fit. • Some employees manage to find their niche and use the experience as a learning curve in a highly competitive environment.

Cons

Long Hours & Poor Work-Life Balance: Expect to put in long hours with very little flexibility. You might be allowed to leave an hour early the day before holidays, but that’s about the only perk in terms of schedule. • Ineffective Management: Most upper management seems disconnected from day-to-day team challenges, lacking the leadership skills necessary to guide and support staff. • High Turnover: The turnover rate is shockingly high—comparable to what you might expect at an entry-level cashier position. Many projects start with high ambitions but fall apart due to staff instability. • Lack of Recognition & Internal Growth: Recognition for a job well done is scarce, and moving up within the company is extremely difficult. The infamous “Sasco raise” seems to be the only form of internal reward for those who stick around. • Culture in Name Only: Despite heavy emphasis on building a strong culture, the reality is that most employees feel left to fend for themselves, with little to no structured training or support.
