Pros

Benefits are good. renovated office building, nice cafeteria.

Cons

- Pay is not that great - work from home policy sucks, you only get to work from home 1 day a week and need to live 20 miles or more away. Stupid WFH policy, especially for having to commute to the Racine downtown location. Nobody lives in Racine, it's a sketchy city with too many bad neighborhoods. Why would I need to commute everyday to do a job I can do at home and be more efficient at it than doing it at the office?? - After COVID, all the talent left the company, and a huge number of the workforce is new to SCJ. Nobody sticks around for more than 2 years, everyone leaves because of the WFH policy. It gets really depressing when you work and see all these ppl leaving. - Onboarding is not smooth, and you just get left there to "figure it out" because the talents that were supposed to train you left the company. - the open concept office environment sucks. You can't focus doing your own work and it seems that everyone can see your monitor, making it hard to work on confidential work. Or if you decide to take a 5 minute break, it will seem that you are not working.

Pros

Employee discounts 14th month pay Good office building Retirement fund Profit share

Cons

Salary is low vs. the workload HR works for the higher ups and doesn't care about the rank and file. They don't care about the "loyal" employees. Hard to get a promotion, even if you get high ratings.

We appreciate that you took the time to share your thoughts. We're proud to offer the benefits you've listed here, and many more, to help support the professional and personal wellbeing of our team members. Please know that our Total Rewards team consistently benchmarks our salary ranges against market and industry data. In addition to base salary, we recognize that recent years have been exceedingly challenging for our team members and their families and have offered additional support through benefits, programs and more.
