Pros

I didn’t come across any pros while working here. When the leadership is terrible, there aren’t any pros in a workplace.

Cons

The CEO is awfully arrogant and fake. This person lies blatantly about understanding the industry, but it’s obvious that this person lacks the knowledge of how a health plan works. It was ridiculous because the CEO put tons of pressure on us (employees) without understanding our challenges.

Pros

From day one, I’ve been struck by how deeply SCAN Health Plan lives its values. Dr. Sachin Jain’s leadership is a clear reflection of that—his words and actions show real care, authenticity, and integrity. It’s rare to see a leader who leads so clearly with both heart and conviction. Even in challenging times, people come first here. That shows up not only in our work but in how we treat each other internally. The culture is collaborative, mission-driven, and rooted in doing the right thing for our members and our teams. I feel proud and grateful to be part of this organization and excited to contribute to its mission while learning from such principled leadership.

Cons

As SCAN continues to grow and evolve, change is a natural part of the journey. While it can bring occasional ambiguity, it also creates opportunities for continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation—for those who are adaptable and open to growth

The company looks after its people

Pros

1. The onboarding process was good. 2. Thorough training 3. 11 holidays plus a floating one and a wellness program 4. Healthy work-life balance 5. Positive culture 6. Cross-functional work, which I love 7. No micromanagement but the leadership still checks in and makes sure you’re doing alright

Cons

Sometimes there’s a lot going on at once with several projects and new systems rollouts.
