Pros

I realized at one point that I didn't have to do that, that no one has to prove their worth to anyone!

Cons

Working here is like constantly fighting to prove your worth to your supervisor, and your manager. It's not just the work itself that creates the stress and get you exhausted, but also the relationship you're building with the management. It's ridiculous how we aggressively fight for our spot to create better opportunities.

Pros

Good company culture. Care about members and community

Cons

High turnover at the department I was at. Culture of micromanagement, favoritisim and inefficiency. Some teams are in constant verbal fight. HR itself is high in turnover and lacking integrity. It is overly protective of management to a point you wonder whether things are legal.

Pros

SCAN's benefits, bonuses and work/life balance

Cons

The company is great, but the Grievance and Appeals Department (GAD) needs to be revamped. A lot of favoritism and illegal promotions and termination of employees. There's a current court case against them for wrongful termination. It's like a high school environment. A lot of gossip and taking sides. Turn over rate is high. They cannot keep a good employee to save their life. Also there is no training at all. They have got multiple corrective actions by CMS probably will get sanctioned once CMS comes a re-audits those corrective actions. Stay far away from this department. They will not hire within and turn over rate is even high with the temp employees.
