      Pros

      Knowledge and professionalism of high level physician leaders

      Cons

      Many employees are expected to work long hours and be available 7 days a week. The systems and processes needed to support work operations in general are broken and the employees suffer the consequences. Doing more, with less, is a typical day in the work life of many dedicated and hard working employees. Senior leadership are aware and simply expect their employees to deal with it. If goals and targets are missed, the employees are at fault instead of the broken processes and lack of leadership.

      Pros

      Great manager who really cared about his employees. Worked hard for us.

      Cons

      Above my manager, no one else really cared. Schumacher is focused on appearance so it can go public. That fact was proven when a human resource manager from a dying company was hired to run recruiting, cleaned house to streamline to one office and then was "promoted" to Human Resources. She never cared about the people she uprooted, just her next position.

      Pros

      The employees are fantastic - friendly, hard-working, and diligent. The offices and meeting rooms are nicely decorated and well-maintained, and we always had high quality computers and office equipment.

      Cons

      They are very big on promoting within the company, but it always seemed as if they were promoting executives from one position to another, instead of promoting any of the loyal 'regular' employees into upper management. It also seemed as if the answer to every departmental problem was to invent a new executive position within the department to fix it. Managers spend the majority of their time preparing reports for all the executives, trying to pinpoint why work goals aren't being completed, but if they were allowed to just do there jobs, there probably wouldn't be so many issues.
