As a salaried employee you are REQUIRED to work 9 hours a day. However management "STRONGLY ENCOURAGES" you to work 10 hours a day. You can work from home, however you do not get credit for doing so. So put in your 10 hours a day AT THE OFFICE and then go home to check email, make calls etc is on your own time. They want you to WORK! WORK! WORK! Making you feel like you're employed by an Indonesian "sweat shop". When you do need to take a day off for whatever reason, you're questioned why you took off.
Traveling- wow. I could go on all day about this. They make you pay for everything out of your pocket except airfare. Then getting reimbursed could take up to two payroll cycles to get reimbursed. You could be out thousands of dollars before you get paid back and at no fault of your own you have to pay interest because they did not reimburse you in time.
EXTREME MICRO-MANAGING!!!! Every minute of every day needs to be accounted for even for salaried employees. That's 9-10 hours a day remember. (no credit for working from home).
I've NEVER met a VP or the CEO since I've been here. Upper management makes you feel insignificant. You're a peasant to them and nothing more.
