It has been an awful experience working for Securus

Pros

I think that the project managers go above and beyond in what can only be described as difficult circumstances

Cons

They are making up the rules as we go along they have no clear leadership in the PM area. I work on average 60-80 projects a week. I have to work through my lunch on most days just to meet the required 45 hour work week, We are always reacting instead of being proactive. I am not allowed to manage my own work load or project plans.

Pros

Securus makes a difference in lives, we are able to keep families and inmates connected, as well giving law enforcement a great tool. This keeps people who have committed crimes from continuing to do, protects victims, and helps the communities safer

Cons

Out of state, out of mind, id you don't work in Texas, then Securus forgets you are there, where ever there is. The field has no voice at Securus

Pros

Best reasons to work at Securus is for the fellow co workers. Everyone is always readily to assist.

Cons

Management needs to take leadership classes. The are literally belligerent and threatening in all communication. They need to gain trust in their employees and treat them with respect at all times.
