Pros

I've had a wonderful experience with Novus thus far. Coming from Google where the interview process is rather excessive, Novus met the bar that Google sets in a more efficient manner (my interview timeline was a month). Typically interviews consist of 4-5 interviews, an assessment, as well as reference checks and standard background check. You'll connect with multiple team members to provide you with insight into the different departments, as well as how the company works cross-functionally. A great experience!

Cons

I'm happy with every aspect.

Amazing People, Jaw-Dropping Product, Exciting Vision

Pros

Amazing culture with really talented people and an ambitious vision to change the world of investment management through data and analytics. A well-recognized brand with a unique product suite that is visually striking. The first company I've worked for where I've literally seen jaws drop in a demonstration. For any smart, energetic, and driven employee, this is a phenomenal place to make an immediate impact while gaining exposure to some of the most sophisticated institutional investors in the world.

Cons

The hours can be long and like any lean, early stage company, there can be rapid changes as the organization naturally evolves overtime. For those used to start-up or hyper-growth environments, this should be nothing new and is part of the work hard/play hard excitement. For those used to slow moving or highly stable corporate environments, the rapid pace can be challenging.

Pros

while the pioneering analytics will revolutionize the way investors and managers use data to construct portfolios...its the culture and people that truly make novus the most amazing place ive ever worked. they are all incredibly smart / hard working / supportive & collaborative. they encourage eachother to be creative and explore solutions together.

Cons

its honestly hard to come up with any cons but if forced to find one it could be that their collective creativity focuses too much on pioneering amazing solutions and less on simple commercialization.
