Brilliant people, empower those who prove themselves, open environment, transparent

Cons

Like any company, it's possible to allow your day to day dominate your time at Novus. The company encourages cross team collaboration. I would highly recommend anyone to push to get exposure to all parts of the business.

Great product, great opportunities

Pros

Novus is a great place to work for those that take initiative and get things done. There are great opportunities for growth and lateral movement to other departments if you put in the work and prove that you're willing to go above and beyond to meet objectives. There is also great transparency into the business directly from senior management in the form of quarterly town halls and standing Friday meetings where you can ask any question to anybody in the company. There are great benefits, a fully stocked kitchen, and a conveniently-located office. All that aside, the best part about working for Novus is the phenomenal quality of people that work here.

Cons

- Work can be a bit unstructured and employees are given a ton of autonomy, which is both a pro and a con. - Product hasn't evolved as fast as competitors, although it's still best-in-class. Many large projects have been started only to be cancelled far down the line.

It's great to see that you are finding the transparency to be as influential as we believe it is. Sharing frequent updates with employees and having multiple outlets to have honest discussions important to the management team. There is always room for improvement, but we feel like we are going in the right direction!

Great for independent individuals

Pros

Novus gives employees incredible latitude to put forth ideas and own execution. All levels of the business are held accountable to a culture personal contribution. Smooth talkers and professional managers have traditionally failed in the company as ultimately only final results are judged.

Cons

The workplace can be demanding. Some days require getting in early or leaving late. Folks are compensated well but entry level comp is average.

The environment can be challenging, but we do value and support work/life balance and it's something that we are continuously trying to improve across all departments. In the end, the results matter most which is why we are flexible when it comes to hours and our vacation policy is unlimited time off. We know how hard our team works and we want them to take the appropriate time off to recharge and travel the world. Thank you for sharing this feedback with us!
