Very little pressure Left to do your own thing Flexible working Starting to look at new technologies Generally a good set of set of people to work with (obviously there are exceptions!) Travel benefits - cut price standby flights available at about half normal cost
Cons
No training Constant cost cutting Salaries are below market rates Understaffed Poor use of staff resources Managment too tied up with meetings and strategy to actually manage Poor tools for IT management Poor project management Never easy to get anything done
