Pros

good pay, good people, training

Cons

no life if you work for this company. You are EXPECTED to work overtime. And the company keeps re-inventing the wheel because of management changes every 2-3years. Lots of wasted money and time with no real effect. Medical sucks now too.

Pros

There were great opportunities for growth and advancement at SLB. I worked with a very diverse, from all over the world, group of people. I felt like I was always learning from great minds and made a lot of friends as well. There are a lot of well paying jobs in the oil industry.

Cons

The oil industry is very fickle, there are many ups and downs. When the industry takes a dip SLB is one of the first companies to start laying people off.

Pros

Great people at the Financial Hub in Houston. You get to learn a lot, especially for Excel. Below average Salary for most Managements Accountants.

Cons

Depending on you BU it can get boring or stressful. Also depending also in your lead, it can be a good place to be or not (as many other jobs I guess).
