Pros

They act like they're for you and then they swindle you. They are super cheap and use all the tricks in the book to pull you down. They try to compensate with free lunches and growth opportunities and employees come first but they really aren't with the times. I've given them too many chances and they are not giving anyone fair wages.

Cons

Not paying people what they are worth and telling them that they are not worth it. Directly and indirectly.

Pros

Opportunity - There's plenty of it if you're willing to work for it. Culture - By far one of the company's best assets. The people are, for the most part, smart and hardworking individuals. Everyone tends to prioritise the success of the company, department, and team over themselves, which says a lot about the individuals as well as the culture SPS has been able to instill. Plenty of company sponsored activities and events as well. Position in Marketplace - SPS is the industry leader in the supply chain SaaS market place. With the size of our current customer base, the consistent track record of the leadership team, and the amount of market opportunity that's still available, that won't change any time soon. Very exciting to be apart of a company that's been able to plan and execute 60+ quarters of consecutive growth.

Cons

Work/life - The amount of work can be overwhelming at times. Focusing solely on personal tasks, you may be able to find yourself working a normal 40 hour work week after you've been in the role for 6-12 months, but the occasional 10-12 hour day will be very difficult to avoid. If you want any opportunity for advancement, you have to be willing to work your tail off which typically means taking on additional responsibilities, and eventually that will eat in to your personal life. Looking at the individuals I have seen succeed, a very common theme among all of them is that they take pride in working longer hours. That mentality is naturally perceived by junior level employees as the only way to succeed. Take that as you will, but that doesn't seem like a message that a company who's all about culture would want to promote. Compensation - The amount of work would be justified if the pay was comparable. Unfortunately, the Customer Success organization as a whole is poorly compensated.
