Pros

Decentralized environment which provides lots of independence and ability to grow. Great leadership programs for first year grads, mid-level management and executive management. Fast paced and aggressive.

Cons

Not a lot of processes unless you build the process. This is good if you have self direction and can lead without guidance. Not for everyone.

Pros

Perfect middle ground between working for a giant corporation and a small start-up company. I've never had any major worries about job security, and most of the people are hardworking, friendly, and easy to get along with. Starting pay is generally competitive with regional market rates. My manager has always been very understanding with time off for family reasons.

Cons

Annual bonuses are presented as part of the compensation package, but rarely materialize. Vacation policy could be more generous, and promotions can be few and far between. Work-life balance varies depending on your position.
