Very clear and honest recruiting staff Good options of office locations in the Twin Cities Moving away from draconian policies like not allowing new employees to take vacation for the first 6 months, always improving culture Strong focus on professional development and goal setting Excellent IT/Graphics/HR/Admin support Work Life Balance, flexible within reason Employee-owned Each team has a lot of autonomy-- employee experience can widely vary based on principal/supervisor. If you're interviewing, trust your gut and talk to people on the team about leadership styles on your team.

Pros

The vacation and health benefits are good.

Cons

There is really no room for growth or promotion if you work in the corporate operations of the company. I worked there for many years and was only promoted one time. I was told I would never have the opportunity to become a principal. Only register engineers/planners can get promoted to principal. Management's communication with the overall corporate staff is almost non-existent. Educational and skills training is sporadic at best.
