I work with a great team of people who offer support for both steamship lines and truckers via phones and emails.

Cons

Can end up spending a good deal of time on the phones. Not a great option if you don't enjoy talking to people.

Money and benefits along with being able to afford nice things

Cons

Where to begin…. Gossip, betrayal, narcissistic abuse as “bosses” or so they claim to be run wild able to make fictitious accusations about their union “brothers”. I watched over 16 years management phase the older crowd that aren’t willing to “play ball” in return this same lackluster management group hired handfuls of young,broke, semiskilled scabs and brought them under lame management regimes. Being lied to and about and spoon fed by lazy,cowardly little sheeple.
