Pros

Good location and good co-workers. When hired I was offered an opportunity to excel and acquire professional growth.

Cons

On the surface this company projects itself to be caring and with a common goal....for all to be part of one team. However the team that they protect is the management team and by that I mean UPPER management. The only training provided is the new hire training yet nothing on going. They offer "training" through a portal but it has NOTHING to do what we do on a day to day basis. Professional growth non-existent. VP's that make promises they can't keep because they lied about it in the first place. If you ask a question the answer you get is "why are you asking". Your opinion and input is not taken into consideration. Mr. Lyons theme is ONE TEAM yet in order for a team to be a true winner, the leaders must lead without personal agendas. Ever since the new CFO took over the morale is at an all time low. People are being laid off left and right.

Pros

I got paid. Met some good people

Cons

Workloads are unbelievably unfair. Some depts do very little while others are overwhelmed. HR is a joke and is all for Mgmt. No confidentiality. Insurance benefits have been reduced, premiums increased and your choices are restricted to put more money in the pockets of the owners. No checks or balances for managers, supervisors, or the C level officers. Disrespect, discrimination and favoritism are rampant at all of these levels. I laugh when I read the positive reviews They were either written by a suck up or one the the BARBIE DOLLS that get paid but don't work. Depts are treated differently. Some get all the perks others get nothing. That is on MANAGEMENT and HR. Raises are not given fairly. They could give across the board decent raises if they would eliminate the waste in all levels of mgmt(which is a lot). The Barbie Dolls who are spending time socializing, lunching, and blogging instead of working and the employees who spend time talking instead of working. Problem there is the supervisors are just as bad. one other. The lack of ethics and morals is horrible and includes All tiers of Management and HR.

Pros

SSI offers fair pay and benefits as they always have.

Cons

Since the change in C level management we have lost costumers and employees. SSI has had at least 100 lay offs in the last 18 months but most employees are leaving on their own now. The CTO is hiring mostly his colleges from previous companies he has worked for. The entire sales department has been replaced just for one example. If you're not in the "click" then you do not have a chance so unless you are related somehow to a C-level person, I would steer clear of employment here.
