Pros
I love the work that I do and the flexibility this job used to offer. In the past 15 months since they did the restructure they have been rolling out change after change, chipping away at everything I loved about my job when it was Dean. They no longer value the employee and are treating people very poorly for a Catholic organization. The pay seemed competitive but no longer have a sense of job security.
Cons
I used to love my job at Dean. Since restructure it seems that there are unrealistic expectations, huge changes rolling out without much forethought about the consequences for workers, only the bottom dollar. Leadership starting from the top seems to only value us based on a number and a sense of quantity over quality that I never felt until recently. I am so torn between loving the job and some of the people, but feeling unable to deal with the anxiety and lack of appreciation. They seem to be pushing higher paid people who have many years with the company out the door which is disgraceful. I no longer have any sense of security or value. Management has thrown people in situations with very minimal training and support, and chastise when you are working hard to meet their ridiculous standard. They seem to be setting up for failure so they can hire in new cheaper labor. I agree with someone who said the company only seems to recognize the healthcare side (doctors and nurses) and not the rest of the company.
