Pros

I work in home health so I'm not on a floor all day. I enjoy meeting new people and teaching them about their health, seeing wounds heal, and encouraging their lifestyle changes. Being outside when the weather is nice is a bonus. The pay is decent. The benefits are ok.

Cons

Archaic software, poor scheduling, persistent negativity from management. It's an unwelcoming environment to newcomers and there is a high turn-over rate.

Pros

Colleagues are excellent , ability to determine my schedule/practice is positive, current benefits allow for education and adequate time off to recharge.

Cons

Budget problems lead to management asking us to work an extra half day and take on extra patients each day to make up for losses. Morale at an all time low. Lack of future orientation. Staff looking for jobs anywhere outside of SSM
