Pros

Co workers are very helpful. Cardinal Glennon is a wonderful hospital for children but it's a shame they do not do any marketing and are losing all of their business to St Louis Childrens Hospital and Mercy Childrens Hospital

Cons

Micro-managers, uncaring management, bullies staff, no work life balance. They shut down departments with less than their two month period as in their handbook.

Pros

Flexible with hours Decent benefits (co-pays are low if you choose exclusive choice health insurance, and they work with you-your copays- if you go to their ER or Urgent Care Facilities) Workers are pretty decent (if you dont mind working with mostly females) Commute to work is not bad

Cons

I tried to transfer to their Intergrated Health Division (the higher paying jobs with little or no IT experience needed), and your current department manager has the ability to block your transfer (but HR or other department managers will not tell you that your department manager blocked your transfer, instead they will state that you were not chosen...sometimes HR or the department that you want to transfer into wont even let you know that you were not chosen for the position...I was fortunate enough to find out from a former employee/department manager who told me that he wanted to hire me, but my department manager stated that 'there is a critical need in her department, therefore she couldn't let me transfer)....it's full of crap....hence, I am stuck in a department that I will either have to quit or pray that the department manager will quit...... Too much brown nosing.......in my department, I have seen employees in our department manager's office for half of their shift.....and call off or come in late without being written up for it............. All the male workers (and I am a male employee) are either in IT, at the top of the company, or on the very bottom (security officers, janitors, etc...).....in my department, I am the only male out of 55 people........I want out!!!!!...I am stuck in a department that has high turnover......all the new hires will quit once they find out that working holidays, sometimes being asked (and when I say asked they are saying 'stay or if you make my job harder, then I will make it harder on you later on...) to cover shifts or stay over....it's bs..... Pay raises suck....... Matching 401(k) is very low.......make sure you vote to keep the current social security system in the US......if you stay with this company

Pros

Teamwork and ethical support are better than BJC. The cafeteria is a little better than most. The no smoking policy is nice.

Cons

Managment is deaf to cost savings ideas and we are understaffed. Projects are completed without input from the users so they fail.
