Cons

Pay was horrendous. I was working with patients with acute mental health disorders— sometimes they would become violent and we’d have to deescalate them. They paid us $11-$13/hr

Very corrupt and not rewarded for hard work but rather sucking up to management

Pros

The coworkers are great, only a few influential bad apples making everyone walk on eggshells

Cons

Management does not have your back in any way at all, there are the few staff who are “in” and everyone else is constantly hounded which leads to low morale/high turnover and a loss of some really good people. Also because of recent budget cuts they’ve recently cut shift bonuses as much as 50-90% which is the opposite of what inflation called for
